Kathryn A. "Kay" Christensen, age 75, passed away July 17, 2008.

Kay was born in Omaha on April 14, 1933, to Thomas and Ella Autzen. She graduated from Omaha North High in 1952 and moved to Council Bluffs in 1955.

She and her husband David owned and operated Christensen Floral and Broadway Flower Shop. Kay was past president of the Women's Quota Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ella Autzen; husband, David Christensen; and brother, Dickie Autzen.

Kay leaves to mourn her children, Lisa Patten (Rod), Philip Christensen, Dana Christensen (Gwen) all Council Bluffs; grandchildren, by age, J.D., Tayler, Miranda, Trae, Madie Jo, Abi Ana; brother, Thomas Autzen (Phyllis); sister, Emily Beckman both of Omaha; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family Sunday, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral services Monday 11:00 a.m. all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Interment in Ft. Calhoun Cemetery. Family will direct memorials.
