A heart attack proved fatal Monday at Sioux Falls, SD, to one-time Blair man, Guy or Babe Stricklett, who had been ill about two weeks. Mr. Stricklett would have been 59 years old next Thursday. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Stricklett was born here February 22, 1892. In 1910 he left to reside in South Dakota. He farmed there for many years. The funeral is being held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, at Sioux Falls.

Surviving Mr. Stricklett is his wife, Hattie, one son, Dr. Harlan Stricklett of Sioux Falls, one grandchild and his mother Mrs. Elsie Stricklett of Blair. Among other survivors are two brothers, Walter Stricklett of Blair and Frank Stricklett who lives in Iowa; and three sisters, Mrs. Bess Bellows of Fremont, formerly of Blair; Mrs. Herman Ladwig and Mrs. John Gilliam of Blair. There were many nieces and nephews, a number of them living in Blair.
