MRS. D. STRICKLETT RITES TUESDAY

Mrs. Dale Stricklett, who had been a patient sufferer for over a year, answered the call last Sunday morning, Feb. 26th, at the age of thirty one years.

As Virginia Elizabeth Zaepffel, she was born in Ft. Calhoun where she grew to womanhood.

In 1939 she was married to Dale Stricklett, and they immediately came to Blair where they have since made their home. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Stricklett, Patsy Ann, aged ten years and Donna Dale, aged eight years, these two daughters with the husband and father will mourn their great loss as will also Mrs. Stricklett’s mother, still living at Ft. Calhoun.

It was a happy family circle until the grim specter of death entered leaving marks of sorrow that can never be effaced.

Mrs. Stricklett was a member of the Episcopal church, and it was from that church that the rites were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. James Stilwell officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Blair cemetery.
