Margaret Trisdale, 71

Margaret Trisdale, 71, of Blair, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Margaret Rose Trisdale was born June 22, 1930, at Alexandria, S.D., to Lyle and Rosie (Gilliland) Stricklett. She attended Blair High School and married Bill Trisdale on July 20, 1947, in Blair. In 1960, the couple purchased the family business from Bill's mother, and in 1965, moved the business to the main street of Blair. Margaret was a member of the Nebraska Florist Society and also National Academy of Floral Design. She won many floral design awards. She also served as a judge at many of the floral contests. She was a member of First Christian Church, Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles and Auxiliary, and was a member of the Blair V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Kaye Trisdale, Bob and Cindy Trisdale, a daughter-in-law, Linda Trisdale, all of Blair, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Verna Johnson of York.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy, three brothers and four sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
