Ida S. Jensen, 81, of Fort Calhoun, died July 6, 2005, in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment will be in the Springwell Danish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Sievers-Sprick Fuenral Home in Fort Calhoun.

Ida Selma Jensen was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Denmark. She immigrated from Denmark in 1947. It was in the United States that she met her husband, Peter Aage Jensen, who also had immigrated from Denmark in 1947. The couple was married Feb. 17, 1951, at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Jensen is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Anton and Robin; Karl and Caren; Aage and Michelle; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aage, in 2000.
