SERVICES FOR HANNAH JENSEN WERE MONDAY

Services for 87-year-old Hannah Jensen were held on Monday, May 7th.

Mrs. Jensen was born at Herman, Nebraska on February 4, 1892. She was married to the late Soren C. Jensen.

Services were held at the Congregational Church at 2 p.m. on Monday. Rev. John Fritzmeier officiated with Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Hannah Jensen was 87 years and three months at the time of her death which occurred May 5th, 1979, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair. She had been a resident of the Home for the last two years.

She spent her entire life in Washington County. She was a member of the Congregational Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star of Herman.

She was married to Soren Jensen December 18, 1912. To this union were born two daughters. They are Mrs. Howard (Leola) Kubie and Mrs. Shurley (Janet) Nelson.

There are three grandchildren: Mrs. Lloyd (Kay) Hazard of Imperial; Mark and Jill Nelson of Herman.

Also four great-grandchildren: Brenda and Sheila Hazard and Amy and Ryan Nelson.

A.J. Skov, a brother, also survives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Soren and a grandson and daughter-in-law Kent and Debbie Nelson.

Pallbearers were Mark Nelson, Lynn Sass, Shurley Nelson, Howard Kubie, Stanley Jensen and Merle Ward.
