#1 Robert H. Peterson, 79

Robert H. Peterson, 79, of Blair, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday.

Robert H. Peterson was born Feb. 14, 1920, to Fred F. and Pauline (Gosker) Peterson in rural Herman. He attended the Neff and Rosehill School and graduated from Blair High School in 1938. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vacoma.

On May 18, 1941, he was united in marriage to Arlene Andreasen at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper.

He farmed his entire life in the Rosehill area. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and had served as president of the church council on two different occasions.

He served on the Rosehill School Board for numerous years.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene, son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Peterson; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Lyle Schjodt of Blair; four grandchildren, Ande and husband, Kevin Carlson, Michelle Schjodt, Deidre and Kali Peterson, and two brothers, Howard F. and Duane Peterson, both of Herman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Merle and Ervin Peterson, and one infant sister.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
