Jens Peter Jensen, retired farmer and widower who lived at 130 North 18th street, died suddenly at his home last Monday afternoon. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was 89 years old.

Mr. Jensen was born at Myallerp, Denmark November 29th, 1872 and came to America at the age of 35 in 1909. He settled near Blair and engaged in farming.

He is survived by a stepson, Elton Bissell, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and by two nephews, Andrew and Jens C. Jensen, of Blair.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Bendorf Funeral Home with the Rev. Geo. Pallesen conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were August Petersen, Nels E. Christensen, Rolland Hineline, James Christensen, Fred Long and Jack Sully.
