Funeral services were held Monday, December 15, for Jessie Marie Jensen, 84, who died Thursday, December 11, 1980, at Crowell Home. Rev. Kurt Sortland conducted the services, which were held at Campbell Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial is Tuesday, December 16, at Danebrod Lutheran Cemetery in Tyler, Minnesota.

Jessie Marie Jensen was born in Forest City, Iowa, on August 7, 1896, to N.Emil and Betty Marie Paulsen Hansen. She attended school in Tyler, Minnesota, where she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 9, 1911.

She married Jens Bertel Jensen in Tyler, Minnesota, on November 21, 1921, and then moved to Herman, Nebraska. A homemaker, she resided in Herman until she entered Crowell Home on October 20, 1976.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Don (Betty) Balding, of Kalispell, Montana; and two grandsons. One sister, L. Violet Smithers, Kalispell, Montana, also survives her.
