MRS. JENS C. JENSEN DIED AT HER HOME IN BLAIR SATURDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Jens C. Jensen, 65 years of age, were held Tuesday at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Pallesen officiating with interment in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Jensen died Saturday at her home at 1138 Lincoln street.

She is survived by a son, Hans Ernest of Blair; daughters, Mrs. Raymond Hancock (Rosemond) of Blair and Mrs. Blaine Ernst (Marie) of Pascal, Washington, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Johanne Elsie Jensen was born December 14, 1899 at Pascal, Denmark. Her husband, Jens, died in 1962.

Pallbearers were Howard Williamson, Robert Wilkins, Arthur W. Andersen, William Christensen, Ted Nelson and Richard Sorensen.

The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

MRS. JENS C. JENSEN DIED AT HER HOME IN BLAIR SATURDAY

Johanna Elsie Jensen was born to Johan and Marie Rasmussen at Marstal, Denmark, on December 14, 1889. She was united in marriage with Jens C. Jensen in Denmark on January 7, 1910.

They came to this country, settling in Washington County, Nebraska, where they reared their three children. Upon retirement they moved into Blair, becomsing members of the First Lutheran Church in 1960.

Jens C. Jensen preceded his wife in death on April 18, 1952. Johanna Jensen was found deceased in her home last Saturday morning, October 9, at the age of 75 years, nine months and 25 days.

She is survived by her son, H. Ernest Jensen of Blair, her two daughters, Rosamond (Mrs. Raymond) Hancock of Blair and Marie (Mrs. Blaine) Ernst of Pasco, Washington; by four grandchildren, and by three great-grandchildren.
