Glendine G. Eason, 80

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at United Presbyterian Church at North Bend for Glendine G. Eason, 80, of North Bend who died October 30, 1994, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Don Canady will officiate. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery at North Bend with a private family committal service.

Glendine G. Eason was born January 15, 1914, at Arlington, Nebraska. She grew up at Arlington and in Washington, D.C. before moving to Fremont.

She attended Doane College at Crete, Nebraska, for one year and graduated from Midland College in 1934. She taught French and English at North Bend High School and also worked at Marshall Nurseries in Omaha prior to her marriage. After her marriage she worked part-time at Marshall Nurseries.

She lived in several states after her marriage while her husband was in the service during World War II. She had lived at North Bend since 1944.

She attended United Presbyterian Church at North Bend and was a member of Golden Rod Garden Club.

She married Thomas K. eason June 3, 1939, at Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Herma Marshall Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons, Thomas F. Eason of Orlando, Florida; Michael G. Eason of North Bend and James M. Eason of Plymouth, Minnesota; a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Jim) Ryan of Boston, Massachusetts; a brother, Kent M. Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Mary Davies of Seattle, Washington, and four grandchildren, Lt. Mike Eason, Marcy Eason, DiAnn Eason and David Eason.

Maxine Arneal will be organist, Carol Clement, Jim Arneal, Willard Scott, Ralph Diffey and Ken Beebe will provide the vocal music.

Memorials may be directed to United Presbyterian Church in North Bend, Senior Center of North Bend or the North Bend Bicentennial Scholarship Fund.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
