Funeral services for John C. Jensen of 1355 Lincoln Street were held Monday morning, Sept. 24, at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Steven Theiss officiated and Betty Denison played the organ. Burial followed at Blair Cemetery.

Jensen, 76, was born in Winside, Nebr. Nov. 2, 1907. He married Frieda Boldt in Stanton, Nebr. Jan. 9, 1929, who survives, along with his sister Ella Huelle of Omaha. He was the son of Christian and Kristina Jensen.

Jensen atteded school at Winside, moved to Battle Creek in 1932, and then to Blair in December of 1936. He was a painter. He was a past member of the Blair American Legion.

Pallbearers were Del, Lynn, Marlin, Robert and Vaughn Boldt, Harlan and Richard Huelle, and Ewald Hartman.
