JOHN JENSEN, HERMAN, DIED FEBRUARY 25th

John Jensen, farmer of the Herman vicinity, died at his home last Saturday, February 25th. He was 58 years old.

Mr. Jensen was born near Herman, October 10, 1908. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans M. Jensen. He had lived his entire life in Washington County, having been baptized at an early age at the Orum Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth H. Hansen, and by four daughters. The daughters are Mrs. Fredrick Heinssen (Betty), Mrs. John Dewhurst (Marian), both of Blair and by Marie and Valerie and by a son, John, who are at home.

In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by two brothers, Hans M. Jensen, of Newton, Iowa and Robert M. Jensen of Herman and by two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Kuhr, of Blair and Mrs. Dagmar Heeran, of LeMars, Iowa and by three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 27, at the Herman Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Vaughn officiating. The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge and burial was in the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Jensen of Herman, Robert Kuhr of Omaha, Johnny Frahm, Eugene Mathiesen, Leland Grabbe, of Herman and Steven Olsen of Carter Lake, Iowa.
