|GILES H. ADAMS, 53, DIED AT GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN|
Giles (Jiggs) H. Adams, 53, passed away at his home at Grand Rapids, Michigan, July 25, 1961, after a short illness. "Jiggs" lived many years in Ft. Calhoun. After being discharged from Army service, he lived in Sioux City, Iowa, and in 1955 moved to Grand Rapids. He was a linotype operator.
Jiggs was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Adams and a brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Grace; two step-daughters, one step-son and eigh grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. R. A. Scott of Phillips, Nebraska; Mrs. J. H. Baker, Omaha and Mrs. John Thielen, Hartington, Nebraska.
Funeral services and burial was held in Grand Rapids, Friday, July 28.
Jiggs was the son of the late Frank Adams who ran the Ft. Calhoun Chronicle for many years.
