Services for Leona Jensen, age 91 of Blair who died August 14, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 17 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. A prayer service was held Monday at Campbell-Anman Funeral Home.

Leona Jensen was born November 3, 1901 in Orum, Nebraska to Richard and Annie Rasmussen Nelson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum. She attended the March School.

On March 11, 1920 she married Fred W. Jensen in Blair. They farmed northwest of Blair until moving into town in 1974.

She moved into the Good Shepherd Home in February of 1987, where she resided at the time of her death.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Women's Church Circle and 3 B's Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on September 10, 1983; one brother and two sisters.

Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Geraldine of Blair, Leon and Dorothy of Omaha; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Viola Hinz of Blair and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Nelson of Arlington.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
