Lillie E. Jensen, 99, of Blair, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2003, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon Tuesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lillie Emelia Jensen was born Sept. 10, 1904, in Oakland to Andrew and Nikoline (Hansen) Christensen. She was baptized in Bertha, Neb., and confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church.

On Feb. 18, 1922, she married William C. Jensen in Blair.

In her earlier years, Mrs. Jensen worked in the canning factory in Blair and also was a waitress in different restaurants in Blair. She farmed with her husband south of Blair before moving to a farm by Orum. The couple farmed there from 1942 until 1975.

Mrs. Jensen was a member of First Lutheran Church and Merry Makers Club.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Gloria Jensen of Blair; a daughter, Lila Idso of St. Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Ella Paulsen of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; 12 brothers and sisters; a daughter, Darlene, and grandson, Jay Jensen.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
