Mary J. Jensen, former Blair woman who lived in Blair until about a year ago, died in an Omaha Nursing Home last Friday, October 17th. She was 89 years of age. She was the wife of Lars C. Jensen who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jensen was born May 29, 1880 at Sigourney, Iowa. She was married to Lars C. Jensen but the couple had no children.

The only survivors are three nephews and a niece, none of whom live in this area. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery on Tuesday, October 21st. The Rev. Ira Dennison, of Fremont, conducted the funeral service. Burial was under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
