Mazie Zella Jensen, 92, died Friday, June 6, 1997, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, after residing there for the last two weeks.

Services were Monday at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Jensen was born Feb. 22, 1905 in Decatur, Neb., to Allen G. and Abigail Jane (DeVinney) Brinley. She graduated from Tekamah High School. On Dec. 29, 1940, she married Kenneth L. Jensen. They owned and operated the Blair Clothing Store for many years.

Survivors are three grandsons, Joe Peare and his wife, Julie of Blair; Ken Peare of Michigan and Arnold Leighton of San Diego, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; a daughter, Betty and four brothers and sisters.
