MELVILLE STANLEY JENSEN, 65

Services for M. (Melville) Stanley Jensen will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 1996 at the First United Methodist Church in Blair. Mr. Jensen died Monday, March 25, at the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha from complications of cancer.

The family visitation will be at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, March 26, from 4 to 7 p.m.

M. Stanley Jensen was born in Tekamah, Nebraska on August 14, 1930 and was 65 years old at the time of his death. He graduated from Blair high School and attended the Commercial Extension School of Commerce in Omaha.

Mr. Jensen was the Office Manager and Treasurer of the Con-E-Co firm in Blair until his retirement.

M. Stanley Jensen had been a Blair City Councilman from June 1972 until November of 1978. At that time he was elected as Mayor of Blair until his retirement from that position on December 11, 1990. At the time of his death he was a member of the Blair Planning Commission and the Blair Board of Adjustment. His many other accomplishments and activities are listed in an article on the front page of this issue.

M. Stanley Jensen was preceded in death by his father and mother, Melville S. Jensen and Maude Elizabeth (Wiese) Jensen.

Surviving is one sister and one brother and their spouses. They are Dorothy and Richard Rupert of Boulder, Colorado and John and Dorothy Jensen of St. Cloud, Florida.

The family has requested that memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church of Blair and the American Cancer Society.
