Margaret A. Hindley, 84

Very active in the Willing Workers Extension Club

Margaret A. Hindley, 84, of Blair, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Margaret A. Wrich was born July 27, 1927, in Kennard to John and Margretha (Hansen) Wrich. She attended a rural school near Kennard.

On April 2, 1949, she married Lyle G. Hindley. The couple made their home and farmed west of Herman. Mrs. Hindley was very active through the years in the Willing Workers extension club, and she loved to sew and cook.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Brenda Hindley of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Gary Kubicek of Firth; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, in 2004; brothers, Claus, Lawrence, John and Albert Wrich; and her sister, Elsie Petersen.
