Loved spending time with her great-grandkids

Lorraine Hain, 89, of Blair, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Graveside services will be held in Watertown, Wis.

Lorraine Yager was born March 23, 1922, at Thorp, Wis., to Joseph and Maude (Swim) Yager.

On March 11, 1941, she married Joseph Hain in Milwaukee, Wis. He preceded her in death in April of 1995.

Mrs. Hain lived in Milwaukee and Eagle River, Wis., and, for the past seven years in Blair, to be close to her granddaughters.

She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren and entertaining Good Shepherd staff and residents with her dancing and singing.

She is survived by her granddaughters and their husbands, Deborah and Joseph Lager and Cindy and Ben Hoffschneider, all of Blair; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Tiffany, Danny, Nicholas, Alexandria, Abigail, Samuel, Caeden, Noah, Chloe and Ruby; a sister, Mildred Yager Conners of Milwaukee; brothers, Joseph of Nashville, Tenn., and Homer “Truman” Yager of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in April 1995; children, Judith and Randall, a grandson, David Betts Jr.; three brothers, Lloyd, Charles and Gerald Lee Yager; four sisters, Frances Keritt, Delores Zaruba, Ruth Sonneberg, and Joanne Shea.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
