Graveside services for Neils Jensen, 94, of Blair, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Jensen died April 1 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Neils Jensen was born July 22, 1906, in Dyva, Denmark. He was the son of Thomas and Lauretta (Hansen) Jensen.

He was raised and attended school in Spencer. He joined the Army before World War II. Mr. Jensen was highly decorated and received the Silver Star for meritorious service.

He worked for the railroad after his discharge and retired at age 62.

He is survived by his sister, Anne Parcher of Blair and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Chris, Lars, Woodrow, and two sisters, Ellen and Marie.
