Earl L. Lottman, 82

Earl L. Lottman, 82, of Fremont, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wed., Dec. 14 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Cemetery, north of Arlington.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to services.

Earl L. Lottman was born Sept. 18, 1929, in rural Arlington to Paul and Emma (Nieburg) Lottman. He grew up in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School.

After high school he worked for Howard Rhea.

He married Marian Dunklau on March 29, 1959, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington.

He moved to Fremont in 1959 and worked for Dehy Inc. from 1960 to 1968 and then was employed at Stormor in Fremont from 1968 to 1988, when he retired.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Fremont and was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Arlington. He was a member of the Nebraska Antique Power Association.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Mary Lottman of Fremont and John and Jennifer Lottman of Lincoln; sister, Esther DeWanz of Fremont; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Dodge County Humane Society.
