Worked at Blair Schools for 14 Years

Donny C. Seeley, 61, died Dec. 13, 2011, at his home in Missouri Valley.

Memorial services were held Dec. 20, at the Missouri Valley United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Woodbine (Iowa) Cemetery at a later date.

Donny Craig Seeley was born Oct. 22, 1950, in Pisgah, Iowa, to Deyo and Audrey (Waldemer) Seeley.

He graduated from Missouri Valley High School. He lived in Missouri Valley for 48 years and worked for the Blair Community Schools in maintenance for 14 years.

He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved being on the farm in his garden, building things or doing repairs and doing yard work. He had many close friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sue, of Missouri Valley, Iowa; his children, Mike and Danielle Jones of Mineral Wells, Texas; James and Jeannie Seeley of Elberta, Ala.; Samantha and Joseph Treinen of Harlan, Iowa; and Dalton Seeley of Omaha; five grandchildren; his mother, Audrey, of Missouri Valley; sister and brother-in-law, Bev and Stan Schultz of Lincoln; and many relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Deyo Seeley.

Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
