Marylyn Raymond, 81, of Golden Living Nursing Home in Tekamah, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Her body was donated to science. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Church of Christ in Blair.

Marylyn Davis was born March 8, 1930 in Lyons, to Roland and Erma Davis, but later moved to Blair with her family. She graduated from Blair High School in 1947.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Nancy (Rasmussen) and Ray Schutt of Fremont, Kelli Sorensen and Kari Raymond, both of Blair; seven grandsons, three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Sylvia of Texas, and Robert and Susan of Missouri; sister-in-law, Geri Davis of Blair; several nieces and nephews; and close friends and staff members at the home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; son, James Rasmussen; brothers, Roland "Buzz" and Roy.
