MARY E. JENSON, 76, of Ontario, died Sept. 27, 1986 in an Ontario Hospital.

Memorial services were held on Sept. 30, at Ontario’s Lienkaemper Chapel with the Rev. Steve Brabb of the First Christian Church of Ontario, officiating. Private inurnment followed later.

Mrs. Jenson was born Nov. 27, 1911 in Herman as the daughter of Dan and Lucy Kimball Sheets. She grew up and was educated in Nebraska. She married Merle “Dugan” Jenson on Jan. 12, 1934 in Tekamah.

The Jensons moved to Ontario in 1944 where they were engaged in farming until they retired in 1977. The couple has resided in Ontario since then.

Mary Jenson was a member and past president of Emblem Club 192 in Ontario.

Survivors include her husband Merle of Ontario; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Karen) Rule of Ontario and Mrs. Jim (Arlene) Webster of Adrian; one brother, Elmer Sheets of Tekamah and two sisters, Mardelle Scarlett and Dorothy Metzler, both of Blair.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
