DR. RICHARD JENSEN, FORMER BLAIR MAN, DIED IN COLORADO

Dr. Richard L. Jensen, a former area resident and son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Jensen of rural Blair, Nebraska, was stricken suddenly at his home in Longmont, Colorado, by a cerebral hemorrhage and died shortly after in a Denver hospital at the age of 38. Dr. Jensen was born and reared in the Blair area. He was a 1948 graduate of Blair High School and a 1952 graduate of Dana College. He worked for one year with the Atomic Energy Commission in Ames, Iowa. He then completed training at the Officers Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island and served four years as a naval officer, before attending Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. Since that time, Dr. Jensen has practiced dentistry in Longmont, Colorado.

Dr. Jensen is survived by his wife, Sandra; three daughters, Jami, 8; Amy, 7; Marci, 2; one son, John, 5; his parents; and his brothers and sisters, Mrs. Vernon Bellows (Phyllis) of Omaha; James R. of Bridgeport, Nebraska; Ray G. of Blair; and Mrs. Jeffrey Vinton (Kathy) of Omaha.
