Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at First Methodist Church for Robert E. Jensen, 63, who died March 26, 1982 in rural Herman.

Rev. Gordon Patterson is conducting the services. Burial is in the Herman Cemetery.

Robert E. Jensen was born May 8, 1918, at Herman to Hans M. and Sidsel Rasmussen Jensen. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Herman American Legion and VFW.

On January 24, 1942, he married Jean M. Reynolds in Arlington. He farmed during his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Herman; and three sons, James Jensen, Omaha; Thomas Jensen, Lincoln; and Richard Jensen, Fremont. Three grandsons; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kuhr, Blair; and Mrs. Dagmar Heeren, Herman, also survive him.

Pallbearers are David Ludwigs, Marvin Hitzeman, David Reynolds, John Reynolds, John Frahm and Robert Kuhr.

Honorary Pallbearers are John Grabow, Russ Nelsen, Terry Peterson, Fred Heinssen, Randy Rager, Jim McClusky, John H. Jensen and Ray Nohrenberg.

Katy Flynn is organist.
