Paul A. Jeppesen, 72, of Pomona, Calif., died Sept. 21, 1997, at his home.

Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Blair Cemetery. Rev. John Nielsen will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home Chapel.

Jeppesen was a graduate of Dana College.

He was born June 27, 1925, in Indianapolis, Ind. He had been a Pomona resident since 1952.

He did graduate work at the University of Minnesota and Claremont Graduate School.

Jeppesen taught at Chaffey High School for 33 years. He was a member of the California Retired Teachers Association.

He had also served with Gen. George Patton in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood.

Survivors include his wife, Ada; and his brother, Herbert Jeppesen of Chicago, Ill.
