MRS. DELINGER IS DEAD AT 86

LONGTIME BLAIRITE SUCCUMBS; FUNERAL SERVICE THIS AFTERNOON

Mrs. Hattie Delinger, 86, widow of James Andrew Delinger, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Fischer, 319 West Lincoln St., after a long illness.

Funeral rites will be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Rex Bear of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be C.R. Fick, Dr. E.T. Jipp. Glenn Nicholson, Hans Jespersen, Ed Crutsinger, and Jack Sully.

Mrs. Delinger was born at Lawrence, Kan., Mar. 14, 1871. She and Mr. Delinger were married in January 1889. He died in 1935.

Mrs. Delinger is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Fischer (Jessie) and Mrs. R.H. Robinson (Nellie), both of Blair; and a son, Warren S. Delinger of Charlotte, N.C.; and 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren also survive.
