Shirley J. Orsi, 71, of Blair, died Feb. 15, 2012, at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, surrounded by her family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
A wake service will be 7 p.m. Friday, at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel.
Shirley J. Orsi was born May 27, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Orsi, Richard Orsi, Steven and Cynthia Orsi; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Lowell Petersen; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, James, Herschel and Johnny Nelson, and a sister, Diane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Orsi, and mother, Lillian Nelson.
