Funeral services will be held for James D. Wilcox, 43, of Blair, who died Friday, July 19, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Trinity Church Interdenominational, 15555 W. Dodge Road, Omaha. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

James Dean Wilcox was born April 19, 1959, in Blair to Duane “Harlo” and Betty (Killion) Wilcox. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1977.

On June 1, 1979, he was united in marriage to Loretta Marshall in Blair.

Mr. Wilcox was an operational manager and partner with Arrow Roofing and Construction in Omaha. He was a lifelong resident of the Kennard and Blair area.

He was a man who shared his time and talents with other people through his work with the Abide Ministry (repairing churches), the Open Door Mission, Christians for Life, and church Bible study. He also enjoyed spending time with and loving his children.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta; children, James Oliver, Kristine Kathrine, and Benjamin Robert Wilcox, all of Blair; sister and brother-in-law, Kathrine and Mike Johnson of Lincoln; and his parents, Harlo and Betty Wilcox of Kennard; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harley and Eva Wilcox, Marvin Killion, Ruth (Killion) Mattison and Fay Mattison.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
