FRED JIPP, 84, DIED AT CALHOUN

Fred Jipp, 84 year old Ft. Calhoun resident, died at his home there Sunday following a brief illness. Death was attributed principally to old age.

He is survived by his wife, Christine, and 8 sons and 2 daughters. The sons are Richard, of Watertown, S.D.; Max and Arnold of Ft. Calhoun; Arthur of Blair; Fritz and Frank of National City, California; Ernest of Lincoln; and George of Omaha. The daughters are Mrs. Fred Gregerson of Bennington, and Mrs. Charles (Mary) DeHaven of Chula Vista, Calif. A sister, Mrs. A.C. Hammond, resides at Stockton, Kansas.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Six sons were pall bearers. Burial, under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary, was in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
