Services for Helen M. Jipp, 81 of Fort Calhoun who died Saturday, October 10, 1992 were Wednesday, October 14 at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun. Rev. Dale Sanders officiated. Burial was in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Helen Marie Jipp was born May 9, 1911 on a farm west of Fort Calhoun to Christian, Jr. and Elizabeth Schultz Staben. She attended Plainview Country School and graduated from Fort Calhoun High School in 1929.

She married Max M. Jipp November 25, 1931. They spent their married life in Fort Calhoun, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in 1981.

She retired from Wilkinson Mfg. in Fort Calhoun in 1971 after 20 years of employment.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Betty of Orlando, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Ronald Jones and a son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Cheryl, all of Fort Calhoun; two brothers, Otto Staben, Newhall, California; and Arthur Staben of Blair; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ross Jones, Lonnie Jipp, Ben Sunds, Mike Grandgenett, Tom Breedlove and Angel Chamorro.

Honorary pall bearers were David Genoways and Dave Humphrey.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
