DORIS JOHNS, 83

Doris Adelaide Johns, 83, of Bennington died Monday, May 4, 1998, at the Ville DeSante Nursing Home in Omaha.

Services were Thursday at the Jaynes Street Community Church of God in Omaha. Rev. Scott Ross officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Johns was born Dec. 3, 1914, at Kennard. She was a bookkeeper.

Survivors are her husband, Russell Johns, Bennington; sons, Dean Johns, Bennington and Ronald Johns, Sun City, Ariz. and formerly of Fremont, Neb.; a daughter, Janet Johns, San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters-in-law, Kay Johns, Bennington and Nancy Johns, Sun City, and formerly of Fremont; a sister, Faye Dierking, Amelia, Neb.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brad Johns, Gregg Johns, Jeff Johns, Paul Johns, Bruce Yonehiro and Grant Yonehiro.

Memorials may be given to the Jaynes Street Community Church of God Gideons.
