MARY JOHNSEN DIES AT AGE 93

Services for 93 year-old Mary Johnsen were held on Wednesday, October 11, at 2 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church at Blair. Mrs. Johnson died on Monday, October 9th, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair. Rev. John Petersen officiated at the service with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of burial at the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born at Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, on October 11, 1884. She was married to the late Peter A. Johnsen.

Surviving Mrs. Johnsen are the following: Mrs. Rudolph (Gladys) Matzen, Blair; Mrs. Clarence (Leona) Wiese, Blair; Mrs. Martin (Edna) Paulsen, Omaha; John Johnsen, Omaha; Mathias J. Johnsen, Omaha; Raymond E. Johnsen, Bennington; Vern C. Johnsen, Dresser, Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Amanda Lund, of Blair, is a sister-in-law.

Pallbearers were: Bill Smith, Chester Wiese, Floyd Paulsen, Ricky Johnsen, Bryan Brown, Neal johnsen. Honorary pallbearers were: Dale Johnsen, Melvin Truhlsen, Rolland Metz, Kenneth Lambrecht, Allan Ward, M.Clark Johnsen, Terry Loptin and Raymond Ried.
