MATHIAS JOHNSON, 89 1/23/1908 – 3/30/1997
Mathias J. Johnsen, 89 of Omaha died Sunday, March 30, 1997.
Services were Tuesday, April 2, 1997 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Omaha. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Johnsen was born Jan. 23, 1908.
Survivors are a daughter, Bev Johnsen, Valley, Nebr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Linda of Bellevue; a brother, Raymond of Bennington; two sisters, Gladys Matzen and Leona Wiese, both of Blair; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the church.
Kremer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
(Note that the name Johnsen was spelled both “son” and "sen.")
