Andrew Johnson died at the Wise Memorial hospital in Omaha at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon of uremic poisoning. The body was brought up on the early train Saturday morning and taken to the home of his brother, J.P. Johnson, in Dexterville. The funeral was held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Stansbury officiating.

Mr. Johnson was born in Wiele, Denmark, and was 62 years old June 27th. He leaves three children by his first wife, all of whom are in California. His second wife survives him, also her two children, Nels Nelson, of this county and a daughter, Sena, who is married and lives in Iowa. He leaves two brothers, J.P. and Neils Johnson and one sister, Mrs. Fred Enger. The burial was under W.O.W. auspices, he having been a member of that order for a number of years and carried a policy of $1,000.
