FORMER RESIDENT OF HERMAN DIES IN COLORADO

Memorial services for Anna K. Johnson were held at the First Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Tuesday, April 8.

Mrs. Johnson was born to Ross H. and Hannah Rasmussen on a farm near Herman Telephone Company. She also worked in her father’s office while he was County Assessor for Washington County.

Mrs. Johnson moved to Blair in 1939 where she resided until she moved to Colorado Springs in 1947. She was a life-time member of the Order of Eastern Star in Blair.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hesse and Mrs. Mildred Brown, both of Colorado Springs and nine grandchildren.
