ANNA L. JOHNSON, 86

Services were Monday, January 8 at Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington, Nebraska for Anna L. Johnson, 86 of Blair who died January 4, 1996 at Crowell Memorial Home. Rev. Paul Reimers officiated. Burial was in the Hartington City Cemetery.

Anna L. Johnson was born February 9, 1909 at Hartington to Charles J. and Ella Ingeborg Johnson. She attended Rose Hill School near Hartington and graduated from Hartington High School in 1926. She entered secretarial school in Omaha and started her working career at Traveler’s Life Insurance Co. She moved to Pasadena, California in 1940. She was a real estate broker for the Clara Clark Real Estate Company in Sierra Madre, California for many years.

She had been a resident of Crowell Memorial Home since March 10, 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joel, Hjalmer and Henry and two sisters, Rena Sharp and Elvera Koch and two nephews, Rodney Koch and Charles Johnson.

She is survived by one sister, Lillian (Mrs. James) Fauble of Blair and nine nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Glen Tuttle, Larry Blatchford, Leon Carlson, Duane Hinman, Dan Hinman and Jeff Kouba.
