ANNA MARIE JOHNSON, 70

Funeral services for Anna Marie Johnson, 70, who died October 15, 1990 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, will be 2 p.m. Thursday October 18, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Warrick officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Anna Marie Bohs was born on July 18, 1920 in Washington County, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Andrew Carl Bohs and Ettie Maude Hitchcock.

She grew up in the Rose Hill area and attended Rose Hill and Summers Schools, before entering Blair High School. She was a member of the Blair Eagles Auxiliary and the Fort Calhoun Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, camping and her family.

On December 17, 1951, she married Leslie H. Johnson in Blair. On December 17, 1961, they celebrated their 40th anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Helen Bohs West; and brother, Carl and T.A. Bohs.

She is survived by her husband, Les; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Milo Christensen of Blair, Marilyn and Richard Baxter, Ft. Calhoun; and two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Johnson and Gary Johnson, all of Omaha. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Velma Bohs, Blair; a brother-in-law, Woodrow West of Blair, and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
