Services For Lillian Gaines Were Friday

Services were 1:30 p.m. Friday for Lillian L. Larson Gaines, 80, of Arbor Manor. The Rev. John Swearingin officiated. Burial was in the Memorial Cemetery. Eastern Star Graveside Services were conducted by Arbor Vitae Chapter 92, Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Gaines, who has been known throughout Nebraska for her work in education as a teacher and administrator, died Monday night at Arbor Manor. She was born Nov. 11, 1898, on the family farm north of Fremont.

Visitation was at Ludvigsen Mortuary, E. Highway 30.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. P. L. Cady of Arlington, and several nieces and nephews, including Paul and Donald Larson, both of Fremont, and Ray Larson of Asheboro, N. C.
