FALL IS FATAL TO BLAIRITE

MRS. BERTHA WRICH, 79, WIDOW OF HANS WRICH, SUCCUMBS FRIDAY

Mrs. Bertha Wrich, 79, of 608 West Washington St., died at Blair Hospital Friday night from the effects of a fall suffered at her home Thursday evening. She was the widow of Hans Wrich.

The funeral, with arrangements in charge of Campbell Mortuary, was held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Methodist Church. Burial followed in the German Cemetery near Bennington.

Mrs. Wrich, as Bertha Kuhr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kuhr, Sr., was born on a farm west of Blair May 18, 1874, and spent her entire life in this county. She spent the past 28 years in the home she occupied at the time she suffered her fatal fall.

Surviving Mrs. Wrich are three sons, Chris Wrich of Denver; George Wrich of Blair; and Otto Wrich of Kennard; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Japp (Marie) of Kennard; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and John Kuhr of Blair; and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Hansen and Mrs. Carl Wolff.
