Lora A. Hiltabidel, 89

Former Blair Resident

Lora A. Hiltabidel, 89, formerly of Blair, died on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at her home in North Platte.

Services were Feb. 28 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell.

Lora Anne Jensen was born on Sept. 23, 1922 in Arlington, to Howard and Anna Marie (Stroh) Jensen. She graduated from Blair High School.

On Aug. 30, 1941, she married Clifton Hiltabidel in Blair.

Mrs. Hiltabidel worked in the credit department at Sears for more than 26 years. She was a faithful member of First Evangelical Lutheran for 63 years. She was also a member of the RSVP, Social Order of Beauceant and Lake Maloney Golf Course.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Stoll of North Platte and Cheryl and Ron Rains of Brighton, Colo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; adopted family, Shawn, Grace, Christina and Steven Helgeson; two sisters and brother-in-law, Dot Bearden of Alexandria, Va., and Edie and Neil Rosenbaum of Kennard; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Barbara Jensen of Springfield, Mo., and Jack and Opal Jensen of Arlington; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Keefer of Traer, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Hiltabidel of Rittmen, Ohio; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton.

Memorials are suggested to First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Carpenter Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
