FORMER BLAIRITE DIED IN FREMONT

Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Johnson, Fremont, former Blairite, were held last Monday at the First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Mrs. Johnson died March 31st.nn

Mrs. Johnson was making her home with Mrs. Louie Tank at the time of her death. She was born in Tuscola, Illinois on September 29, 1884. Came to Washington County with parents John and Catherine Hinrichs when she was a small child, lived in the DeSoto area until n1905. Her parents moved to Blair in 1918. She was married to Ed Johnson, and they moved to Fremont farm until 1952, moved back to Blair in 1959. They moved back to Fremont.

Attending the funeral were Messrs and Mmes Ray Johnson, Richard Johnson, Vernette Johnson, Clark Lippincott and Miss Flora Anderson of Omaha.
