The funeral of Mrs. Chas. Johnson was held at the Danish church Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Mrs. Johnson had only been sick a few days and after her arrival at the hospital, it was found that in connection with her other sickness, she also had appendicitis and an operation was at once performed. She never rallied and passed away on Thursday.

She was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Munson and would have been 26 years old Jan. 19th. She left a dear little son 2 years old to help comfort his father, her parents, four brothers and three sisters to grieve over her early departure.

Ellen Munson was born here only a couple of miles northeast of town and was married to Charley Johnson, and their life together was very happy. Her friends were her acquaintances, her sweet disposition made her welcome everywhere. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the bereaved ones.
