Son Of Former Blairite Killed In Texas Army Camp Staff Sgt. Dennis A. Ganzel, age 29, son of Mrs. Peggy Turner and Mr. Edward A. Ganzel of North Park, Illinois, was killed in an accident at Ft. Hood, Texas, where he was in field maneuvers. He was commanding an armored personnel carrier and it threw a track and went out of control. He was pinned beneath the vehicle. He had been in the service for 12 ½ years.

His mother is the former Peggy Marshal of Blair and his grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Floyd H. Marshal.

He is also survived by his wife, Paula, a daughter, Denyce; a sister, Mrs. Sandra Springer of Cherry Valley; three brothers, Joseph and Charles Turner and Edward Alan Ganzel, Jr., all of North Park.
