Funeral services for Ruth E. Ekwall, 88, formerly of Lincoln and now of Blair, were held Monday, November 30, 1987, at Roper and Sons Mortuary in Lincoln. Interment was in Lincoln Memorial Park.

She was a homemaker, born in Ong.

Ruth was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, PEO Chapter G.D. and a life member of W.S.C.S.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. John W. Ekwall of Blair, son Dr. Merton L. Ekwall of Tallahassee, Florida; Daughter Mildred E. Fager of Lincoln, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Estelle Ericson of San Diego, California, and by brother Jay M. Bergquist of Lincoln.

Memorials are suggested to Crowell Memorial Home in Blair or St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
