JEANNEAN A. JOHNSON, 72

Jeannean A. Johnson, 72 of Blair died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Jeannean A. Porter was born May 19, 1936, in Portland, Maine, to Richard and Emma (McGraw) Porter. She graduated from Batton (Maine) High School. She lived in Maine and was a registered nurse.

On January 5, 1956, she married Harold Johnson in Maine. He preceded her in death in February 1999.

Mrs. Johnson and her husband moved to Hastings where he was a practicing physician. They later moved to Omaha where Mrs. Johnson worked at Clarkson Hospital. In 1992, they moved to Blair.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Mark Stadle of Omaha and Kim and Steve Poynter of Albuquerque, N.M.; son Harold Johnson II of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Andrew Porter, both of Maine.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sherry Lee Zibafar and granddaughter Meagan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
