LESLIE H. JOHNSON, 77
Services for Leslie H. Johnson, 77, who died April 7, 1994 at the home of his son, Robert Johnson were Saturday, April 9 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Gurney officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Leslie Harold Johnson was born November 3, 1916 in Blair, Nebraska. He was the son of Wallace and Edna Binnall Johnson. He grew up in the Blair area and attended school in Blair.
He was a member of the Blair Eagles, the Omaha Public Power District High Voltage Club and the Fort Calhoun Baptist Church. He worked for OPPD for 43 years.
He married Anna Marie Bohs in Blair December 17, 1941. They celebrated their 40th anniversary in 1981.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna; and son-in-law, Dick Baxter.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Milo Christensen of Blair; daughter Marilyn Baxter of Fort Calhoun; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Johnson of Omaha; son, Gary Johnson of Blair; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Velma Bohs of Blair; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many good friends.
